All accommodation is twin and double rooms, so you would be sharing with another participant. We have a limited number of rooms that are available for single occupancy (additional cost). Please contact us for further details.
2. Can I have a room to myself?
Yes - although this will incur a single occupancy charge. Please contact us for further details. (see above - #1)
3. Do you provide towels?
Yes.
4. Are hairdryers provided?
Yes.
5. Do you cater for vegans / vegetarians?
We cater for all diets, allergies etc. Please just let us know in advance of any specific dietary requirements.
6. I have never done trail running before, only road running. Is this event suitable for me?
You should be able to run a road 5K comfortably. We cater for all running abilities and will make sure that you are paired up with a running guide at all times. Trail running shoes are essential.
7. I have never run more than a 10K before - does that matter?
Absolutely not - we cater for all running abilities and will make sure that you are paired up with a running guide at all times.
8. I am not a runner at all - can I still attend?
This event is primarily aimed at runners. There are plenty of other activities that you can do on the island - walking, swimming, cycling - so, if you want to bring along a non-running friend, they would be more than welcome. We would, however, have to charge them at the same rate as a running participant.
9. I am a really slow runner - would this weekend be suitable for me?
There is no such thing as a slow runner. You should be able to run a road 5k comfortably - and it doesn’t matter how long that takes you. We cater for all running abilities and will make sure that you are paired up with a running guide at all times.
